OUR MISSION - Class focus is on: fundamentals of cheer & pom, enhancing self-confidence, self-esteem, physical fitness and safety awareness. Our main goal is to bring out the best abilities in each student, regardless of the student’s level of coordination.
DROP OFF/PICK UP - SAFETY FIRST...please walk your child into the building for class and instruct her to wait for you inside of the building until you return to pick him/her up. We appreciate your courtesy and cooperation in bringing your child to class only 10 minutes prior to their class. Also please pick your child up promptly after class.
CLASS MAKE UP - Children can “make-up” a missed session by attending an additional session the following week. Children who attend all sessions will receive a Cheer & Pom “Class Completion” medal.
SPECTATORS - Parents are invited to view the first class. To minimize distractions and to ensure your child receives a full and complete lesson, Only “parent helpers” are allowed in class after the first night. We will hold a parent’s night during class #6, and an awards night the last session. You are encouraged to attend these special sessions, along with family and friends, to view your child’s progress in class.
AWARD NIGHT - The last session will be ‘Award Night’. Students will receive their Cheer/Pom class certificate and ‘Class Completion’ gold neck-ribbon medal! Parents...bring your cameras as this is a great photo opportunity.
PARENT HELPERS - 2 or 3 parent helpers are needed to assist in class each night. Please see the instructor if you are willing to help. You help is needed and appreciated!
WHAT TO WEAR - Uniforms available: AIM Cheer T-shirts & Shorts $25 per set.
POM PONS - Pom Pons used in all our routines will be available for $19 a pair tax included.
SNOW DAYS- if schools are canceled due to whether.... so is the Cheer & Pom classes. We realize conditions may improve by the time evening class time, BUT it is school policy ALL evening classes must be canceled as well. Any questions...please contact the Athletes in Motion office at: 616 -891-4445
AIM TOURNAMENT – Athletes In Motion has scheduled two tournaments for this school year. One in the Spring and one in the Fall. Our last tournament was a great success and well attended. All participants will receive a participation trophy.
