Required Self Defense Gear

BELT RANK REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

As a child advances in rank, sparring will be a significant part of their training. At different levels AIM requires all students to wear protective sparring gear for their safety.

White Belt - No equipment required - no sparring

Yellow Belt - Yellow belts must have protective covering forearm/ hands & shin / instep, mouthpeice and groin cup (male).

Orange Belt - In additon to all Yellow belt gear, Orange belts are required to have a Sparring Vest

Purple Belts - In additon to the Orange and Yellow gear, Purple Belts are required to have Head Gear

Green Belt through Black Belt - Groin protection for Females is required

AIM USA offers all of the required sparring gear.

Yellow Belt Spar Package- This consists of a Mesh bag containing cloth shin/instep pads, cloth forearm/hand pads, These items are available at class or through our on-line store.
