I have enjoyed athletics my entire life and have dedicated my career to offering physical
education programs to students ages 4 through 15.
After attending Michigan State University, I followed up my collegiate training in martial arts,
gymnastics and cheerleading throughout the United States. I settled down in the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia. For over twenty years I have hired and worked with very talented instructors. We all take pride in the difference AIM has made in thousands of student lives!

Kendall Pickett

I started cheering at 9 years old and continued throughout high school, where I was All District my senior year and won Most Spirited! After graduating, I coached my high school’s JV cheer team and have been part of the AIM family on and off since college.
Over the years, my love for cheer has turned into a passion for helping kids build confidence, try new things, and have fun while learning new skills. One of my favorite parts of AIM is getting to watch students grow both in and outside of class.
I love bringing energy and encouragement into everything I do, whether that’s teaching classes, connecting with families, or helping create new opportunities for our students.
I’m so excited to continue my journey with AIM and am always here to answer any questions!

Jessica Johnson

Executive Administrator
I have been a cheer coach with AIM since 2019 and transitioned into an Executive Administrator role in 2026. I assist with scheduling, communications, marketing, and a whole wide range of other administrative responsibilities. I also still find time to coach cheer when I can!
My favorite part of this job is seeing the incredible boost in confidence the athletes gain as they become more comfortable in the program. They grow louder, brighter, and stronger in every way, and I am so grateful to help facilitate that growth both directly as a coach and more indirectly as an Executive Administrator.
To keep active, I enjoy weightlifting and yoga, and for fun I love playing video games and going to concerts. Don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can help you with!

Terri Woodruff
Administrative Assistant
I am an Administrative Assistant, a fancy way to say I help with all the “office stuff”. I started working for AIM in February of 2008 and I am the A to Z employee. From securing locations, finding instructors, coordinating classes, answering customer and employee questions, preparing payroll and everything in between; I am the chief contact person for most everyone.
When I am not working for AIM , I have a husband, children, grandchildren, farm animals, knitting, crocheting, reading, traveling and binge watching Netflix to keep me busy.
I enjoy my job and love the affordable classes that we provide in an area where some students would not otherwise be able to participate. If you contact AIM, whether by phone, email or text, at some point you will talk to me! I look forward to it.
